Atlas for Android · ZabCore · last updated 2026‑09‑09
Atlas is a margin calculator for delivery drivers. This policy describes exactly what the
app sends, what the server keeps, and who else sees it. It is written to be checked against
the app’s behaviour, not to be broad enough to cover anything we might do later.
The short version
- Your voice never leaves your phone. Speech is transcribed on the device itself.
No audio recording is uploaded, stored on our server, or sent to any third party.
- On the free tier we do not keep your offers. The math runs and the result is
returned. No row is written.
- We never sell data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers
beyond the ad request described below.
- Your AI provider key is stored only on your phone. There is no key table on our
server and no way for us to look yours up.
What we collect when you sign in
Atlas signs you in with Google. From that sign‑in we receive and store your Google
account’s email address, display name, and Google’s stable account
identifier. These are used to know which account you are and nothing else.
- Your real name and email are never shown to other users. In the in‑app forum
you appear only as an assigned handle such as “Spark Driver 41827”.
- A session record is kept so you stay signed in, labelled with the phone model you signed
in from so you can recognise and revoke your own sessions. Signing out revokes it on the
server.
What the app sends while you use it
- The text of what you said or typed, after transcription on your phone, so the app
can turn it into an offer to score.
- The numbers you give it — pay, miles, minutes, your fuel baseline, your
minimum margin and hourly floors.
- Your AI provider API key, sent with the request so the request can be made on your
behalf. It is used for that call and is not written to disk or to any database.
It lives on your phone; a reinstall loses it.
- Anything you post in the in‑app forum, which is visible to other Atlas users
under your assigned handle.
- Bug reports you choose to file, including the message you write and your app
version, Android version and phone model. Bug reports may be copied into a
private issue tracker that only the developer can read.
Atlas does not collect your location. The app has no background location
permission and the server has no place to put one.
What we store, by tier
- Free: your account, your session, your baseline and your floors. Offers you
score are not recorded. The calculation happens and the result is handed back.
- Pro: the same, plus a record of each offer you score and whether you took or
passed it — that history is the feature you are paying for. It is yours; ask and it
is exported or deleted.
Third parties
- Google Sign‑In verifies who you are.
- Your AI provider (currently Google Gemini, on your own key) receives the text of
your requests in order to answer them. Their terms govern what they do with it.
- Google AdMob serves the ad strip on the free tier. AdMob receives the standard
request data an ad SDK receives, including an advertising identifier you can reset or
opt out of in your Android settings. Ads are removed entirely on the paid tier.
- No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no attribution or tracking SDK is present in
the app.
Where it lives, and for how long
Data is held in a private database on a server operated by ZabCore in the United States,
reachable only over TLS and only by the app. Each driver’s rows are isolated at the
database level. Backups are encrypted at rest and rotated.
We keep your account for as long as you have one. Delete your account and the account,
sessions, baselines, floors and any stored trip history go with it.
Your choices
- Sign out at any time from Settings, which revokes that session on the server.
- Clear your API key from the app at any time.
- Request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by email. We will action it and confirm.
Children
Atlas is a tool for gig delivery drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the material change is
described here rather than quietly folded in.
